Two comments: 1. This character really seems just like two O's with a small add-on. Any way you can think of redrawing it to make it seem more original? Try drawing the original character by hand a few more times and watching the way your hand naturally connects parts of the character-for example, look at the way the percent symbol works in this type specimen: http://www.specialtyengravers.com/i//sne.gif From there you can begin to re-formalize the form into something more unique.
