I think option 1 is really successful! I love the muted colors versus the black and white, and I think the type composition where it is aligned on the bottom works the best. really impressed!
I prefer looking at option 1 too. I'm really digging the washer. Although I think "Fiona Apple" isn't really centered but if you didn't intend to center it because it would be too close to the pipe then I think that is okay too.
I also like that weird opaque X going across the inside leaflet in option 2.
