there is no class next week, sept. 29, so this assignment is for the following week, oct. 6.
1. please revise your five most successful (according to your own opinion or to the class's feedback) date composition posters. add ONE element to EACH of the revised posters: a 2-5 sentence paragraph describing the date's significance.
- you may use any typeface you like for the added paragraph
- consider carefully the shape, the size and the position of the new text, especially in relation to what was there already
2. four of the posters are to be presented as before: cropped to 10"x16". the fifth must be scaled to double that size: 20"x32".
- it should go without saying that this fifth should be your favorite, with the most potential to 'work' at a larger size
- you may assemble the larger poster from four 10"x16" sheets if you like, or print it full size at a print shop such as east side copy (15 E. 13 st., between 5th ave. and university pl.)
